THINK DIFFERENT...and this difference if backed-up by positivity can lead human to a limitless achievement ! Being a student of Aerospace Engineering and possessing a technopreneur mindset, I believe technology build up and its marketing is not that easy. In countries like India, youth especially an engineer and a MBA student is given a pre-notion about risk of career in India. They are shown higher money, higher value and higher quality of job in foreign establishments. Huge bunch of green papers can easily entice some engineers like us who sought at every moment for something interesting and qualitative to do. At least, at a beginner's phase no one likes to sit down doing idle jobs and paperwork. But here this thought has made us slave to foreign employers who exploit the talented Indian brains in every aspect to put it all into "operations" sector of their development.
Here i come up with a question in my mind: "Do we Indians lack creativity so much that we are just pushed forward into operations field ? Are we not strong enough of creating something of our own and work into it ? Why we always go out to seek jobs? Why can't we create one here in our country?" I remember a saying by Bill gates, when he was asked about why is he employing Indians when there is already a high magnitude of American people available to do that work, in one of his media interview pointing towards efficiency and talent of Indian brains- "If i don't employ Indians in Microsoft then there would be another Microsoft coming up in India." Hats off sir! You really know the power of Indian brains. So inspite of just taking pride listening to Mr. Gate's words, i think Indian youth should always learn something from it. Gate has already mentioned the weakness prevailing in their industry. That's why he needs Indian machines to run his industry. Then why can't Indian youth sum their ideas, creativity and determination to come up with an equivalent or superlative industry to that of Microsoft, Apple, Google, Foxconn, Pixar, Activision, Intel etc. Why should we lag behind in ideating and creating opportunities for many like us and helping out Indians to save their talent as well as economy. I think this technological improvement is hugely associated with rapid technological development and its application in world market. The industries outside India needs our BPO services to sustain because for them India is a cheap labour market. So why can't we afford to put this advantage for ourselves and generate huge level of employment, quality product & services and huge economical profits and thus a large scale upliftment of standard of living. The so-called Gen-Y population should give it a deep thought. I think the day Indian youths start to think of working their talents out in India, our nation would export more and more technology rather than importing them from other countries. We have brains! What we need to do is to be a bit clever rather than being too simple to give up our creativity and talent into some foreigner's duty. The faster we come up with groundbreaking technological developments and quality products, the faster we shall be seeing our country reach the heights of being called as a "Developed Nation". Already the trend for entrepreneurship has started from elite institutes in India. But that's not sufficient. Every Indian youth should start thinking this way, not just to earn money, but to bring on some change. And this change will be the actual technological revolution in the Indian History. Sending up a Mars orbiter is really a good symbol of development, but that's of no help in near future for Indian population and consumer market. Till the day we can't capture consumer market with our indigenous technology and productions, we shall remain at the mercy of others. Plans are simple but "Dream Big to expect a Big return".
